CRAFTY adults are marked an anniversary year of one of Gloucester's 'best kept secret'. More than 150 people are learning skills such as botanical art, calligraphy, life drawing, at Beaufort School. Gloucestershire’s Arts and Crafts Summer School is in full swing at the tuffley school with classes running from 9.30am to 4:30pm daily. Jill Webb, one of the organisers, said: "It's marvellous; it really is Gloucester's best kept secret. “We have got around 150 adults here learning some amazing things and it seems that no-one really knows about. This is the 30th anniversary as well, which makes it extra special. There is so much going on, there are some really useful skills to be learnt." Each class lasts a week and people can take away their creations at the end of the week. For more information people can visit www.gloucesterartsandcrafts.co.uk
